What makes the Unique Window different?

We start with the most unique window sill design in the industry, Dura-Sill ™. This window sill in addition to our Elements sash combines interlocks, air locks, weather-stripping, water barriers, and diversions that work 24-7 to maximize energy efficiency. With this innovative sash/sill combination a gust of air would have to force its way around ten 90° turns, over one interlock, through a triple-fin weather-strip and between a Soft-Seal™ neoprene gasket and ledge before making its way into your home.

The Unique Triple 10 window is 3 panes of glass. To cut down on condensation build up that metal spacers tend to present, we separated the panes of glass with Super Spacer ®. Our spacer is 100% foam, a flexible and stress-resistant material.

Our frames and sashes are not hallow either. They are filled with Comfort Foam ™ , this expanding polyurethane insulation foam fills critical spaces in the frame of the window and improves thermal effectiveness.

American Architectural Manufacturer’s Association (AAMA) put Unique’s Triple 10 window through stringent testing to declare it an AAMA Gold Label Certified product. The AAMA tests for resistance to air leakage, water penetration and wind pressure. AAMA does not stop there, they inspect the manufacturing line, component inventory, quality control records twice annually through an independent third-party Validator.
